Philippines Typhoon Relief (Fundraising Concert)

In the light of the recent devastation in the Philippines that was caused by Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy), we are looking for sponsors for our fund raising concert. The event will be held on Friday Nov 20, 2009 at Vista Community Church. The doors will open at 6:00pm and the show will start at 7:00pm. The concert will feature a collection of talents ranging from singing, dancing, instrumentalist and poetry. We are excited to share your financial donations with the following agencies: 1. Philippine Medical Association 2. United Church of Christ of the Philippines and Church World Service Typhoon Ketsena Emergency Fund Sponsors Tier 1(with suggested donation of $250+) will receive an advertisement inside the event's program handouts, slide power point display on the auditorium's screen and announcement by the emcee. The Sharing Center expects 3,200 families for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner. That's a 30% increase over last year's holiday meals program. The Sharing Center needs your help stocking our food pantries to make the holidays special for families out of work this winter. Ways you can help: hold a food drive or a collection for supermarket gift cards or funds to buy turkeys and other meats. Drop off at one of The Sharing Center pantries in Longwood at 600 N.
