A Musical Salute to the G.I. Joes and Janes of WWII

The setting is a U.S.O. Club in Brooklyn in 1942. Ships leaving the nearby Navy yard are being sunk by enemy U-boats. Allied intelligence suspects the club is unknowingly harbouring Axis spies. Enter Private Joe Kilroy, a young soldier who draws a curious cartoon face everywhere he goes (and is this causing trouble!). He’s the only one who knows where the next Allied convoy will converge. The enemy agents are stopping at nothing to learn his secret. The action builds to an exciting finale during a wild radio broadcast.

Town of Montverde 33rd annual Montverde Day Fall Festival and Carnival

This 33rd annual event is complete with a full carnival rides and games for young and old. Arts and Craft vendors, artisans, business vendors and food and drink vendors.

Local entertainment will be taking the main stage to perform throughout the day which includes local schools, dance groups, church groups and youth. Additionally, Rocktown and Gregg Warren will be playing live throughout the day!

Come support our local wounded heroes with a purchase from Party Flavors cupcakes or cakes! All proceeds benefit our local heroes who have been wounded in combat.

Annual Holiday Bazaar

Plan now to attend the traditional bazaar featuring hand crafted gift items and holiday decor. Pick up some homemade entrees and desserts to help you through the holidays. Come early and enjoy coffee and breakfast biscuits. Stay for lunch – chili and chili dogs!
Proceeds from the bazaar enable the women of the church to fund their scholarship program and provide support to the church and the Apopka community.

Run for 2 Schools and Fall Festival
