3rd Annual Turkey Day 5K

Feeding Children Everywhere is proud to announce Seminole County’s Third Annual Turkey Day 5k! Each participant that signs up will provide 80 healthy meals for local public schools’ crisis shelter food pantries around Seminole County.

Entry:
$25 – Early Entry through November 15th
$30 – November 16th through November 21st
$35 – Day of Race Entry (cash or check only)
$15 – Kids 14 years of age and under up o the day of the race

Christmas in July!!!

Devereux Florida is a Non-Profit Organization that works with children and families in times of crisis. For many children it will involve having to leave their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Many times they own little clothes, toys, books…one can only imagine.

It is never to early to start thinking about those Christmas Wish List thoughts that your own children are bringing to you and so won’t you please sponsor a child(ren) for Christmas by filling their toy wish list! Call or email me and we can get you started!

Toy Drive for Children

Living Hope International Ministry, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide long term residential and outreach services to hurting women. We give them the opportunity to change their lifestyle and recover from chemical dependency, abuse and a dysfunctional life through the program services that we offer. Our Children of Hope program provide services to the children of incarcerated parents. The children of hope program has been helping the children of incarcerated parents for over 10 years. On December 16, 2012 we will be hosting our 10th annual Christmas Party for children ages 2-16. Together we can make it happen. For more information please call: 407.422.6797

First Baptist Community Thanksgiving Dinner

In the past, we have fed 500-700 (each year) including homeless and needy families, elderly individuals unable to leave their homes, several group homes, senior citizens, single adults, single parent homes, and couples who don’t have family in the area. We will be serving a free, fully homecooked meal to those who might not otherwise have a meal. This is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Apopka and is open to the public.

12th Annual FREE Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Twelve years ago God laid this ministry upon our family’s heart to host/spearhead – all for God’s Glory – The FREE Homemade, all the fixin’s Thanksgiving Day Dinner. We will have traditional roasted turkey, deep-fried turkey, ham, made from scratch mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, dinner rolls, and lots of desserts!
