23 Days of Giving

We want to provide three meals a day for three local families for the 23 days school is out over Christmas. To participate, add your family’s favorite recipe to a recipe card. (Please feel free to make more than one). Go shopping and only purchase the non perishable items for the recipe. It can be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Feel free to give money or Publix gift cards (Any money/card collected will go towards Christmas dinners from Publix). Make sure recipe cards and food are kept together and dropped off at Suntree United Methodist Church by 2 p.m. on December 16th, 2012. God bless you for your generosity! Journey thru Christmas

Award-winning “Journey thru Christmas” returns with a new theme and new scenes! Voted #3 in Orlando Sentinel’s 2010 “Best Family Go-Do Event” and featured as a “must-see on WOFL Fox 35s “Season of Hope”, this free live outdoor drama consists of 18 scenes with more than 100 actors and live animals.
Doors open at 6:00 pm and tours depart every 5 minutes beginning at 6:30 pm through 8:30 pm.
This free event includes the live drama tour, live entertainment, free candy stockings for the children, and free hot chocolate and cookies for everyone!

NOEL Living Nativity Presentation

NOEL (Night Of Everlasting Love) is a 30 minute Living Nativity presentation that tells the story of the birth of Jesus interspersed with a cappella carols. The setting in in a traditional Bible village to fully enjoy the atmosphere of living during the time of Christ’s birth. The cast of 35 performers will fill the platform as the story of Christ unfolds with angels, shepherds, wise men and village citizens all coming to worship the new born King and will be presented at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  each evening. Dentistry From The Heart

Your Oviedo Dentist is sponsoring its 2nd annual Dentistry From The Heart event. This community event provides a free cleaning, filling or extraction to anyone who is in need this holiday season. Dr. Angel F. Lopez and a team of volunteering doctors, hygienists and assistants will be working from 8am to 6pm for one day only with a goal of helping over 150 patients. Free Toy Give-Away to Those in Need

Living Message Church is giving out 450 free toys for Christmas to those in need. On Saturday December 8th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The child must be present to receive toy and one toy per child. Toys range from 1yr to 12 yrs. Please come out to this free event. Each Child will also receive free ice cream from Ritters.
