Fashion Show Fundraiser

Your support will help benefit youth entering high school in Lake County. They are at risk students who want to participate in the arts-Drama, Band, Culinary Arts, etc. but lack the funds due to financial hardship. The recipient is a non-profit 501c3 that will give scholarships to students who apply for the school year 2013. This is an organization that focuses on prevention of substance abuse/violence for our youth. Go to Sweet Treats for a Cause for tickets or sponsorship!

Clay Cross - Holy Homes Event

Westview is having Clay and Renee Crosse come and present a marriage and family event. Holy Homes Marriage seminar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. lunch will be provided. Cost is $50.00 a couple. Clay Crosse will be in concert on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and tickets will go on sale at the church shortly. Clay will also be staying with us for Sunday morning and speaking and singing in our 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services.

Faith Family Community Church Women's Health Fair

Faith Family Community Church is sponsoring their First Women’s Health Fair. Event is open to all Women. We will have various agencies with display booths focusing on Women’s health information, seminars and give-aways.

Kevin Atwell Benefit Event

Please join us to help raise money for the Kevin Atwell Benefit Fund. Kevin was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago at the age of 24, and has waged a courageous fight fending off the cancer as it spread through his body. After 3 years of fighting, Kevin was declared cancer free and thought the battle was over. In a turn for the worst, Kevin now faces an even greater challenge by trying to overcome PNS (Paraneoplastic Syndrome).  This extremely rare disease causes his body to attack itself, as it believes there is still cancer present. Due to this disease, Kevin is now confined to a wheelchair, has limited control over his body and has tremors which result in incredible pain.

As you can imagine, treating a disease such as PNS is extremely expensive requiring 24 hour care, multiple medications and regular trips to specialists throughout the country. Raising funds to help Kevin receive medical care while a cure is being researched is essential to his long term outlook!
