Community Unity Day


Location: Earl Brown Park, Deland Fl

Our event is promoting unity for all citizens. It will have the atmosphere of of community picnic. Local charities and law enforcement will compete in a number of sporting events to raise money for the charities. It is open to the public. The City of Deland is helping to sponsor the event. Deland Police Chief Bill Ridgway and Volusia County Sheriff Michael Chitwood have promised their full support. We will have music, food and games for kids.

Walk Like MADD


Location: UCF Memory Mall, Orlando Florida/ Orange County

We will be having our annual Walk Like MADD event on April 29th. It will be at the University of Central Florida partnered with the UCF Police Department and we will also have a DUI Saturation Patrol Briefing which is where law enforcement from all over the county conduct a major DUI patrol. This is a great walk for a GREATER cause! Walk Like MADD is a community-driven walk that raises awareness about drunk driving and underage drinking, and unites community members around MADD’s mission. WE look forward to seeing you out here!

MAYSfest 2017


Location: Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, Orlando FL

The Metropolitan Area Youth Symphony performs its Season Finale MAYSfest 2017 at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center on April 30th at 4 p.m. This concert will feature all of the students from MAYS Orlando, Lake County, and MAYS’ school programs as well as a special solo cello appearance by Orlando Philharmonic’s Music Director, Eric Jacobsen, who will perform with Maureen May and the orchestra. Come hear the magic of Mozart, the inspiration of modern composers, as well as the power of over 250 students playing onstage together. Tickets are on sale at Dr.Phillips Center.

Tee Off Fore Our Troops Charity Golf Tournament


Location: Timacuan Golf Club, Lake Mary FL

Please join us for the Tee Off Fore Our Troops Golf Tournament to benefit the Just Our Soldiers’ Helpers (J.O.S.H.)! Registration includes cart fees, range balls, 18 hole 4-person scramble, continental breakfast, on course beer and sports drinks, Texas BBQ buffet luncheon, and awards reception. Prizes will be awarded for first place team, longest drive, closest to the pin and putting contest.  There will be additional contests, a silent auction, and additional opportunities to win prizes. ALL proceeds from this event will be used to provide high quality hygiene or snack/food care packages to U.S. Troops who are deployed to locations that place them in harm’s way. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930’s New York City. She is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage, run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC.
