A ‘Christmas in October Bazaar’ will be hosted by Gifted Hearts Women’s Ministry of Palm Bay Christian Church on Saturday, Oct. 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be lots of unique gifts from all different types of crafters and vendors so you can start your Christmas shopping early this year! Florida Black Bear and Wildlife Conservation Festival

Location: Cadwell Park, Umatilla FL

Pedalpalooza: Presented by I.V.M.S

Location: Retro City Cycles, Orlando FL

Ivanhoe Village Main Street presents Pedalpalooza, a day of riding through our beautiful neighborhood by bicycle! The day will start with a bicycle rodeo and maintenance clinic at Retro City Cycles, followed by a family-friendly bike ride through Ivanhoe Village (6 miles). After the ride, take the opportunity to see how bicycle-friendly our streets can be! Merchants along N. Orange Avenue will be offering sales, specials and samples to all who ride up on a bicycle. We will also be holding a bicycle art show, where proceeds of the day’s sales benefit the Ivanhoe Village Main Street. IVMS is made possible through the interest, efforts and generosity of The National Trust Main Street Center, the City of Orlando as well as our many members and volunteers who have recognized the district potential and want to make a difference in the quality of life for all.

*Ivanhoe Village Main Street (IVMS) is a member-based organization made up of local business owners, residents and members of local government who are committed to long term restoration and community growth of one of Orlando’s most historical and cultural districts.

Fun Coast 9th Annual Buddy Walk: Down Syndrome Association

Location: Central Park at Town Center, Palm Coast FL

Join us for a day of family fun to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome. The Buddy Walk® was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. The Buddy Walk® has grown from 17 walks in 1995 to nearly 300 Walks planned for 2014 worldwide. In 2013, more than $12.2 million was raised nationwide to benefit local programs and services, as well as the national advocacy and public awareness initiatives of NDSS that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.

The Buddy Walk raises the funds for the general budget of the Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association. These monies fund the recources we provide to individuals with Down syndrome in Flagler, E Volusia, Putnam and St. Johns counties.

“The Harvest Ball” benefits Bishop Grady Villas and will be held in celebration of the many gifts of the adults with disabilities who form this community. The Harvest Ball includes a silent and live auction, special performance by the Bishop Grady Villas Chime Choir, live entertainment, dancing, and a gourmet dining experience. Fr. John McCormick, rector of St. James Cathedral, will receive the Lifetime Legacy Award for his advocacy for people with disabilities. Bishop Grady Villas supports persons with disabilities to use their God-given gifts to achieve greater independence, physical and emotional well-being, and spiritual growth who are adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Southern Gospel Concert with "Adoration" Quartet

Location: Victory Christian Fellowship Church, East Palatka Florida

Southern Gospel Quartet “Adoration” will be in concert at Victory Christian Fellowship in East Palatka. This group hails from North Carolina. Members, Joshua Horrell, Corey Wilson, Dustin Leming and Chris Serlick have all previously toured with a number of respected Southern Gospel artists, evangelists and pastorates.
