BYO (Bring Your Own) Workshops-Tye Dye Shirts

Our Bring Your Own workshops are craft and activity workshops designed for little one’s and their adults to make creations together with something from home using supplies provided by Amaya Papaya! We provide you with the space to get messy, do it yourself instructions, the supplies for your master piece and we do all the clean up!

Cost: $7 Per shirt (when you bring your own)
$10 Per shirt (AP provides the shirt for you!)
All cost are in addition to Admission to Amaya Papaya
Kids and their grown ups will have fun decorating their own Tie Dye Shirt! BYOS and we will provide you with the rest!

Second Annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

First Baptist Church of Apopka has started a 4th of July  annual tradition by putting together an annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. This is a time where families can come and enjoy free food, music, water slides, games, presentations by local law enforcement, local fire department, and door prize drawings. It’s a day to come together as a community of this great nation and celebrate our God and our freedoms.

July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza

This Independence Day celebration includes activities for children such as games, bounce houses and an obstacle course; a performance by Then2Now; and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is very limited at the Sports Complex but the city provides a free shuttle from City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd., where there’s plenty of parking. Buses are available from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. and then from 9:45 to 10:15 p.m.

Art House Presents: Shaun Groves

Love great music and a great cause? Help us welcome Shaun Groves to the Orlando area as he takes us on a journey through his life, his stories and his music.  

Shaun Groves is a communicator who’s known by a lot of titles: Singer-songwriter. Speaker. Blogger. Husband. Daddy. Friend. He feels and thinks deeply and laughs easily. And he’s helping Christians discover what they were saved for, and being a voice for children around the world, desperate to be saved from poverty.

Help sponsor a child through Compassion International who will care for impoverished children in the Third World.

Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at Art House Orlando or Shaun Groves.

Authors in the Park - Picnic with an Author

Come join this unique opportunity to have a picnic with an author. Ten authors from across Florida will be reading from and discussing their works in a casual picnic setting. Food will be provided by Round Lake Christian Church for a small donation. There will be face painting and more! Books will be available for sale from authors and anyone purchasing a book will get a free hot dog for the picnic.

4th Annual Independence Celebration [I'm FREE Part IV: The Curse Is BROKEN!]

FarMor Entertainment presents its 4th Annual Independence Celebration [“I’m Free Part IV: The Curse Is Broken”] on Saturday, July 6 at 6 p.m. in the Wekiva High School Auditorium (2501 N. Hiawassee Rd., Apopka, FL 32703).

This stage show is filled with dance, poetry and singing uniquely intertwined with a positive message. The lineup includes:

• International recording artist Abigail Hamilton
• Poets Natasha Daniels and Tremayne Moore
• The mime of David J. Stafford
• And the dance ministry of 14-year-old Jazmine Runyon, better known as “The Gifted One”

“Our goal is for each individual, regardless of age, race or nationality, to leave that auditorium with a renewed mind and a sense of hope to pursue their dreams and fulfill their destiny–despite their past mistakes or current circumstances,” says Suzette Farquharson-Morgan, president of FarMor Entertainment.

Follow Paul’s missionary journeys in Acts and you will overcome fears to reach new heights of faithfulness, boldness, trust, wisdom, and self-control. You’ve got a ticket to ride! Come on and let’s get going…overcoming colossal fears and trusting God! All kids Kindergarten to 5th grade and adults are welcome.

Meeting nightly from July 7- 13, 2013. Nursery will be provided for attending adults.
