Renew: Heart •Mind•Passion Conference

Location: First Baptist Oviedo, Oviedo Fl.

Calling all early educators, teachers, child advocates and children’s ministry leaders!  The “Renew: Heart •Mind•Passion conference” is designed to encourage, train and challenge those who work and volunteer with children. Our keynote speaker for this event will be Dr. Wess Stafford from Compassion International. Dr. Stafford has a heart and a passion for children and for those called to work with them. He has the unique ability to understand both the joys and challenges of children and childhood. Dr. Stafford will be our opening and closing speaker for the event. Our speakers for this section of the conference will be D’Arcy Maher and Leanne Leak, co-authors of the book Attentive and Attuned. As grateful representatives of the difference that Christ makes, it is important that we are attentive and attuned to the children, families, co-workers and volunteers we serve. During the conference we will examine each of these relationships and evaluate our attitudes and approaches in order to build quality relationships that allow for the sharing and living out of our faith to those we serve. See you here for this great event!

Who is it for? Renew: Heart •Mind•Passion has been designed for early education teachers, assistants and directors, administrators, K-12 teachers, child advocates, children’s ministry leaders and volunteers.

Cost: $55 per person, includes lunch, refreshment breaks and a copy of “Attentive and Attuned” by D’Arcy Maher and Leanne Leak. The conference content has been approved for CEU’s and certificates will be issued at the conclusion of the conference.

Registration: can be accessed at First Baptist Oviedo’s website.
