Free Parenting Workshop

Location: St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Orlando Florida

Dr. Joanne Mac Pherson, Director of the Community Counseling Center at St. Luke’s will talk about the challenges of raising children the demands it places on parents to grow themselves as individuals. Each week will focus on a different age group and teach appropriate  parenting strategies for that age.You’ll need Skype CreditFree via Skype. All classes will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm in Building B Room 203.You can attend all or one of the workshops.

2014 "Fully Committed" 2 Day Women's Retreat

Location: Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center, Leesburg Florida

Saturday evening Renee Swope, co-host of Proverbs 31 Ministries’ radio program and best-selling author of “A Confident Heart,” will be our keynote speaker and Francesca Battistelli will perform a special concert. There will also be a keynote speaker and a concert on Friday night as well. During the day Saturday there will be opportunity for group meetings, pertinent workshops, and special activities designed just for women!

The cost:
For the entire weekend (2 nights lodging, 6 delicious meals, and the program) is $200 per person.

The Seminole County Prayer Breakfast is a time when people from all parts of the community join together with community and church leaders for a time of reflection, encouragement and prayer and a commitment to the cause of the YMCA to help families and individuals in need. Guest speaker at this year’s event will be Dr. Patrick Morley. For three decades, Dr. Patrick Morley has been regarded as one of America’s most respected authorities on the unique challenges and opportunities men face. Be empowered and to live out your calling!
