Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb of God Concert

Andrew Peterson’s Behold The Lamb Of God is coming to University Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 6! Andrew Peterson and his musically talented friends have blessed thousands of enthusiastic fans over the years in various venues across the country with this amazing Christmas production, recounting through song, the Christmas story as written about in the scriptures.

Since 2000, Andrew Peterson and his friends have performed Behold The Lamb Of God around the country. The tour has become a yearly tradition not just for Andrew and the other artists on the tour, but for families and churches who attend the concert each season. The live concert, like the album, is a community effort, featuring singer/songwriters Jill Phillips, Andy Gullahorn, Ben Shive, Andrew Osenga and more, and over the years has featured artists such as Alison Krauss, Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken, Buddy Miller, Phil Keaggy, Sara Groves, Sixpence None the Richer, David Wilcox, Pierce Pettis, Mindy Smith, Ron Block, Brandon Heath, Bebo Norman, Stuart Duncan, Eric Peters, Matthew Perryman Jones, and Randall Goodgame — all in the name of proclaiming the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ.

THE TRIAL OF EBENEZER SCROOGE


Location: Metro Church, Winter Springs FL

A sequel worthy of Dickens’ approval. One year after Dickens’ classic tale, Ebenezer’s epiphany has waned and he’s returned to his curmudgeonly ways. He files suit against Jacob Marley and the Christmas ghosts for kidnapping, slander, and emotional distress. All of Dickens’ classic characters take the stand in this heartwarming family comedy that ends once again (surprise, surprise!) in triumphant redemption.

Bryan Duncan Christmas Concert

Christian music legend Bryan Duncan will be sharing a special “Night of Christmas” at Southside Assembly of God in Lakeland. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and concert starts at 6:00 p.m. Duncan has released 14 solo albums, three with the NehoSoul Band and seven with the Sweet Comfort Band. Outdoor Walk-Through Living Nativity


Location: Woodlands Lutheran Church, Montverde Florida

This will be our 23rd Annual Outdoor Living Nativity that is suitable for the entire family, with continuous 20 minute walk-through tours of the greatest story ever told begin at 6:30 p.m. each night. The production has been expanded to include enhanced lighting and sound, wider scenes and an additional night. Well over 1500 guests are expected over the three nights of performance. Arrive anytime between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sign the census and then enjoy the exotic animal market place booth, sing-a-longs, and games while waiting for your tour to start. Enjoy beautifully decorated Christmas cookies and hot chocolate after your tour. We ask that guests bring a non-perishable food item or personal care item to share with our neighbors in need.

This event is free.
