South Pacific

Location: Central Campus of Central Florida Community Arts, which is on the grounds of Central Christian Church, Orlando FL

CFCArts is proud to present South Pacific as its Spotlight Series show for April!

This epic musical romance centers on a group of American sailors and Navy nurses stationed in the South Pacific during World War II. One of the world’s classic and most beloved musicals, Rodgers and Hammerstein masterfully weave together beautiful stories of love and war through such unforgettable songs as “Some Enchanted Evening,” “There is Nothing Like a Dame,” and many more.

Different from our large scale Summer Broadway Season concert version production, this will be a creative, immersive, fully staged show in an intimate space. Experience this full-length musical theater masterpiece, directed by Donald Rupe, in a whole new way!

South Pacific will be performed:

  • April 17: 8:00 p.m. (Friday)
  • April 18: 8:00 p.m. (Saturday)
  • April 19: 3:00 p.m. (Sunday Matinee)
  • April 20: 8:00 p.m. (Monday – Industry Night!)
  • April 23: 8:00 p.m. (Thursday)
  • April 24: 8:00 p.m. (Friday)
  • April 25: 8:00 p.m.(Saturday)
  • April 26: 3:00 p.m. (Sunday Matinee)

All performances will be at CFCArts’ Central Campus, which is housed on the grounds of Central Christian Church, 250 SW Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando, 32804. Please park behind the church, going around the left side of the building, and taking care to turn before I-4 entry ramp, which is next to the church’s driveway.

Seating for all South Pacific shows is limited and advanced purchase is strongly recommended. Guaranteed seating can be purchased in advance for $18 (credit card/Paypal) or, if available, can be purchased for $15 at the door (cash/check only). Tickets for Industry Night are just $12! Doors open 30 minutes before showtime and all seating is general admission.

Doubtless Faith Apologetics Conference

Location: Deltona Alliance Church, Deltona FL

Doubtless Faith Apologetics Conference – Learn how to stand on the TRUTH; we live in a culture that regards faith as personal and unintelligent, distinguishing it from fact and banning it from the public sector. This conference will aim to equip Christians to answer the questions: Is it reasonable to believe in God? Is the Bible a legitimate source to know God and His involvement with mankind? Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Is Christianity Truth or merely a personal set of convictions? If Christianity is True then what does that mean for the way I live my life?

For more information, call 800.982.8629 or visit our Doubtless Faith Conference website.

Dates and Times:
April 17: 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
