The Gift of Life Benefit Fundraiser


Location: Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando FL

Rosie’s son Kaleb was born at 1lb 10 oz and 27 weeks at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando. The book “Story of Faith” was inspired by Rosie Moore’s own story of the struggles families face who have premature babies, this event seeks to bring awareness to The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and celebrate the daily miracles of premature newborns. The Gift of Life Event includes dinner, entertainment, guest celebrities, and silent auction. Proceeds from this event will go to Florida Hospital for the Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as towards the costs of producing the book inspired movie “A Story of Faith“. The movie is to be filmed in the part of the hospital which will provide additional resources for families whose children are patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Joanne Mac Pherson, Director of the Community Counseling Center at St. Luke’s will talk about the challenges of raising children the demands it places on parents to grow themselves as individuals.
