Rejoicing in Lament by J. Todd Billings Lecture & Book Signing

Location: Reformed Theological Seminary, Oviedo FL

Dr. J. Todd Billings, author of Rejoicing in Lament: Wrestling with Incurable Cancer & Life in Christ, will be speaking at Reformed Theological Seminary. Dr. Billings is a professor at Western Theological Seminary. He was diagnosed with incurable cancer at the age of 39. Rejoicing in Lament is an open & honest account of his story and all he has both questioned and learned as a result.

In the book, he encourages us to trust in God’s promises and be genuine in both our rejoicing and lament because our stories are part of God’s larger biblical story of his saving work in Christ.  Join RTS as we read this important book throughout the fall, and for the event  when we hear from Dr. Billings and consider this topic together.
