Space Coast Music FestivalLocation: Manatee Sanctuary Park, Cape Canaveral Florida MILA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAM WILL BENEFIT FROM THE SPACE COAST MUSIC FESTIVAL Aside from the big stage talent and the beautiful waterfront setting, the event will feature a renowned and diverse array of critically acclaimed art and craft vendors. It will also feature an Eco Awareness Village celebrating National Public Lands Day. The Space Coast Music Festival will be held at Manatee Sanctuary Park, at 701 Thurm Boulevard in Cape Canaveral. Admission is $5 to enjoy 10 hours of non stop music. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paid adult admission. This year we have added THE KING (QUEEN) OF WINGS COMPETITION, Space Coast area restaurants will compete to see who has the best Wings on the Space Coast. Two stages of continuous music will feature top notch talent filling the day with unprecedented music. Our national headliners ROCKET RANCH will launch again featuring the amazing piccolo bass work of LA session musician Paul Ill, Paul was raised on the Space Coast and is coming home to pass on his musical tradition to the kids. Paul has recorded with such greats as Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilar and others, he has several platinum albums and many recordings to his credit, he will be bringing Guitarist extraordinaire Bobby Owsinski from LA, to top off the lineup will be Brevard’s finest, Kenny Cohen, Kenny Clarke, Austin Pettit and Michael Wright. To start the day, The Cape View Elementary Drum tribe will show their talents on the new drums they have received over the past couple of years. Then the Pro’s take the stage. This year, classic rock will flow from Deluxe Mojo, The ladies of the Space Coast take the stage with their band “Bittersweet,” new music sensation “Rough Edges,” these kids are amazing, From the Treasure Coast Hurricane Hawk and The Invaders bringing home the blues, Space Coast favorite John Quinlivan with his new band will excite the crowd, “No Safe Word” with Chris Rivas and former members of Steel Heart will rock heavy, and we will continue with LA sensation “Truly Blessed.” On the acoustic acoustic stage we will feature Sunnyland Steve, Susan Rose, Eddie “ Willie Nelson “ Clevenger and others. This is a non profit organization that provides Free Services to babies, toddlers, children, teens, and adults who are visually impaired and or blind. They provide rehabilitation instruction, early intervention programs, visual aids/technology, support groups and mobility training. They serve Lake and Sumter Counties.
