Fun in the Sun Sewing Workshop for Kids & Adults

Location: Seminole County Extension Office, Sanford FL

2 day workshop…OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Thursday, June 2 and Friday June 3 from 9:30am to 4:00pm

Registration deadline: May 15th

Registration $45 (includes $20 donation/$25 kit)

Payable to: Seminole County 4-H

Sew a large beach bag/carryall tote, water bottle holder and zippered pouches.  Youth ages 7-9 require an adult assistant to be present.  Youth ages 10 and older may attend independently.  ONLY registered participants may attend. Fundraiser proceeds support Seminole County 4-H scholarship fund: helping youth attend 4-H summer camp.

Participants are required to provide their own sewing machine in great working condition plus basic sewing supplies including: thread, bobbin, machine needles, scissors, seam ripper and sewing pins.

Join us at Make ‘m Smile, a community festival that celebrates kids with special needs (VIP kids) and their families! The event features a Buddy Stroll where VIP families are “buddied up” with families from around the community for a stroll around Lake Eola. Your family will enjoy food, entertainment, prizes, and a chance to visit exhibitors that service the special needs community.

Join your friends Ellis and Tyler from Z88.3 Mornings at the main stage. Your friendsSuzanne and Shadow from Z88.3 Afternoons along with Tom Dupree from Z88.3 Evenings will be coloring at the Z booth so stop by to join them!

There is a small charge for wristbands (please see cost above) for all who wish to attend. The wristbands include access to everything (including food) offered at the festival. VIP kids and their immediate families are free.
