7th Annual Eustis Jazz Revue

Location: City of Mount Dora Community Building Auditorium, Mount Dora Florida,Lake County

On April 07, 2017 The Eustis Music Program will be having its 7th Annual Jazz Revue. A night with an evening of the Arts. It will feature live Jazz performances by the two Award Winning Eustis Panther Jazz Ensembles and Award Winning Eustis Mustang Jazz Ensemble, student soloists and special guest artist Bianca Jade. Starting at 5:30 p.m. Complimentary Hor’dorves and drinks are served while you enjoy the original canvas art. Bids for the silent art auction start at 5:30 ending at 7:00 p.m. once the Jazz Concert begins. The event is held at the Mount Dora Community Center located at 520 N Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida 32757.

This event attracts many business leaders, as well as community members because 100% of the proceeds go directly back to the Eustis Band Program that provides music, equipment, and instruments for children in 6th thru 12th grade. This fundraiser is a great way to get close and personal with the current and future leaders of our community.

Each year the Eustis Jazz Revue invites a renowned clinician to join the ensembles. The benefit of having a clinician is the time spent with each band, working directly with the students, and sharing the things that they have learned over their years of experience. Having this as part of the event helps the students with confidence and teaches them to work as a group and with new musicians. This year we are proud to have Bianca Jade.

Bianca Jade is an award-winning singer-songwriter calling Miami home. She is a twenty-year-old education major at Miami Dade College. This Cuban and Jamaican descent began writing music at ten years old. She has already had some original songs recorded. Bianca Jade won the Sparkle Singing Challenge, which was a national singing competition sponsored by Myspace and TriStar Pictures for the new movie “Sparkle” featuring Jordin Sparks and Whitney Huston. Other career accomplishments are winning many state and national competitions, recording a Punch Monkeys, LLC original song, Opening act for Grammy Nominated Artist, JMoss at the Adrienne Arsht Center Gospel, The National Anthem Singer for Presidential Inauguration Simulcast in 2013, a Grammy Foundation Jazz Choir Finalist, an interview and performance on BET’s 106 & Park. You can find more about her at www.biancajadesings.com.

Tickets and information for The Annual Eustis Jazz Revue can be found at www.eustisband.com. or by calling 352-308-8559
