Read To Me Story Time (A Sock Story)

At Amaya Papaya we encourage parents to be engaged with their children’s playtime through dramatic play, crafting and reading together! We love and support weekly FREE story time at your local library hence we do do have weekly scheduled story times here…INSTEAD we offer SPECIAL GUEST STORY TIMES once a month where we invite local authors, teachers and story tellers to our imagination stage to share stories that are sure to spark the imagination! These special story times are scheduled on a Tuesday or Thursday during the month.

A Sock Story
The picture book features A) two curious adventure socks, Sock Pink and Sock Blue, who adventure, sing, play, pray and dance their way around and B) Animals that vow to never have a gibberish-ly bad day!

The Drive - Community Bible Study and Worship Service for Orlando Young Adults 20s and 30s

The Drive is a weekday Bible study and worship service for Orlando 20s/30s singles. The Drive is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday nights in the Student Center of First Orlando. Group heads out to dinner each week following the service.

Saint Margaret Mary at is holding a rummage sale in the Parish Center at 526 North Park Ave in Winter Park. All proceeds go to benefit our Haiti Project. The Rummage sale is so big that it is like a hundred garage sales under one roof. We have high quality items at inexpensive prices.

Family Game Night

Children learn valuable skills like being good sports and taking turns through play. Sometimes this can be tough for young children. Come have fun with us and work through these skills while playing together! Board games will be set up for older children and adults to play. There will be some structured and unstructured games & activities for the younger children.

5th Annual Run for Africa 5K

The 5th Annual Run for Africa 5K will raise funds to help Children of the Nations build a secondary school in Malawi, Africa. Early registration is only $25 for those who sign up before July 20th and you can visit Race Time Sports to register. All registered participants are guaranteed an event t-shirt and there is also a free kids run. So bring the whole family! Get out, be active, and support a great cause! Children of the Nations is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide holistic, Christ-centered care to orphaned and destitute children with the vision of raising leaders to transform nations.
