All proceeds go to provide children who are ill and who have a medical condition with donated surgical and medical care. We fill gaps in healthcare for children in local communities and around the world.

Smiling Angels invites you:
The Smiles of Hope event will benefit children with cancer and other diseases.

Come and be part of giving joy to other children. There will stylists offering hair cut for donation.  It will collect $ 2 dollars to cover shipping costs. Free admission.

Donation requirements:
1: It must be in a ponytail or braid
2: We do not accept bleached hair. However, colored hair is acceptable
3: Clean hair
4: Minimum measure of donation: 6 inches

Let's Move Altamonte - 5K Run Walk & Health Fair

“Let’s Move Altamonte” is a community Event open to the general public, which features a 5K Fun Walk and a Health & Fitness Celebration.  The 5K Fun Walk Admission is $20 and the Proceeds will benefit “New Hope For Kids”.  The Health & Fitness Celebration will feature Free Health Screenings, Food samples, Massages, Free Fun for the Kids (bounce house, face painting etc). Sponsors for the Event include Florida Hospital, Foot & Ankle Assoc, Community Health Centers etc.

I am unable to attach mammogram flyer- Florida Hospital Women’s Mobile Wellness and FRI-Diagnostic Imaging are offering a day of Screening Mammograms at Mount Zion SDA Church at their annual Health Fair with health presentations (topics on diabetes, CA, depression, Nutrition, etc). There will be gifts and surprises! No prescription required-Most insurances are accepted-$81 uninsured rate. Operation Christmas Child - Anabel's Story

Location: First Baptist Church Titusville, Titusville Florida

First Baptist Church of Titusville will host a kick-off celebration for a worldwide Christmas project that will give 12 million children overseas a reason to smile.  How? By giving them a shoe box filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Anabel Reyes received such a gift as an 8-year-old child living in the Dominican Republic. She will come and share her wonderful story as to how the shoe box gift has made an amazing and eternal impact on her life. Shoe-box packing tips and ideas will also be presented. Come and hear Anabel’s story and see how God is faithful!

2016 Toy Collection

Location: Forest City Adventist School, Orlando Fl

Our inaugural Forest City SDA Church Toy Drive will take place in December. We are looking for toy donations for boys and girls ages 0 – 12. Donations should be of unwrapped, newly purchased toys that will help bring Christmas joy to children in need.

Each Sunday starting September 18th until December 4th, a toy drop-off location will be set up at the Forest City SDA School from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Be a Flu Fighter and get your FREE flu shot!!! Join your friend, Joey from Z88.3 Weekends and Florida Hospital Centra Care  for this FREE flu shot event! This event will run from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will be first come, first served.

Who Should Be Vaccinated?

The CDC recommends an annual flu vaccine for everyone, especially those who are at high risk for developing flu-related complications. Including:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children younger than 5, but especially younger than 2 years old
  • People 50 years of age and older
  • People of any age with certain chronic medical conditions
  • People who live in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities
  • People who live with or care for those at high risk for complications from flu, including:
  • Health care workers
  • Household contacts and out of home caregivers of children less than 6 months of age (these infants are too young to be vaccinated)

463rd Cadet Squadron CAP 2016 Open House and 5 Year Anniversary

Location: Osceola Council on Aging, Kissimmee FL

The Civil Air Patrol volunteer patriots have served American citizens for 75 years by providing emergency services, disaster relief, and search/rescue missions.

In the continental U.S., 90% of the inland search and rescue missions tasked by the U.S. Air Force are performed by this Congressionally chartered, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.   The 463rd Cadet Squadron adult members ensure dedication in mentoring CAP core values of Integrity, Volunteer Service, Excellence, and Respect to the youth of Osceola County, ages 12 to 18, by fostering Aerospace technology, cyberspace education, flight training, leadership skills, character development and service to our community, state, and nation during emergency situations. Other opportunities include summer encampment, academic scholarships, International Air Exchange and more.
