The Encounter Church of Melbourne is proud to present Gerald Doggett as its Special Guest Speaker!

Gerald Doggett has given over fifty years of his life helping others discover their life path and to successfully walk that path. Gerald enjoyed his young adult years in Houston, Texas. It was there he attended college, met and married his wife, Doris. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren. Gerald and his wife currently reside in Orlando, Florida.
Throughout his life, Gerald has worked with executives in various financial institutions. He has assisted leaders in building sales teams as well as trained leaders in various for profit and nonprofit corporations. Gerald’s experience also includes radio and television programs as a guest and host. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses for a Florida based university.

This unique journey has positioned Gerald to continue helping others map and navigate their chosen future. Transitional and transformational leadership reveals that no one succeeds alone.

Ultimate Game Night for Families

Come join us for a night of fun the entire family will enjoy!

Hosted by the well renowned Atlanta based PlayDateUS. Live music and laughter will lead guests on a nostalgic journey of signature games such as Musical Chairs, Simon Says, Red Light-Green Light and Hula Hoop challenges. There will also be video games and board games to challenge the ultimate gamers.

Elevate “LIVE” – Come be a part of Central Florida’s most EXCITING group of talented singers, dancers and performers! This summer camp creates original choreography and “live” stage techniques that prepare you for the 2016-2017 tour season: Sing and Dance!

By the end of the week you will perform in an Elevate “LIVE” concert show and have the opportunity to audition for the 2016-2017 Elevate Live touring group! (referral by Artistic Director/Choreographer, Allie Fagan, recommended)

All material is carefully selected and designed to accommodate each age appropriately and effectively.

Price: $150 for new members
$125 for Elevate Live members*
*Includes $25 off for being an Elevate LIVE Member. Camp payment for returning Elevate Live members will be charged on July 1, 2016.

Hope for Korah Night


Location: Jersey Mikes, Melbourne FL

New Beginnings Church has partnered with Jersey Mikes to have a fundraiser for Hope for Korah at Jersey Mike’s in Melbourne (in front of the big walmart). Our goal is to have at least 150 people. All you have to do is eat dinner at Jersey Mike’s between 4-8PM. What a great opportunity to serve and how easy can it get? There’s no post card, you don’t have to mention anything, and it wont cost you a penny extra if you were already dining out. It can be called in and paid for over the phone. Future orders are more than welcome, say you have an event coming up that will be catered, pay for it August 2nd between 4-8 PM and part of your purchase will go towards a wonderful cause. Hope for Korah is a great ministry.

Lemon-Aid for Kids


Location: Panera Bread, Orlando FL

Thirty-three participating Orlando area Panera Bread bakery-cafes will be hosting lemonade stands to raise money for New Hope for Kids.

On Friday, August 4th and Saturday, August 5th, from 10:00am-2:00pm children and supporters of New Hope for Kids will be asking customers to donate $1.00 or more to receive a refreshing sample of Lemonade. Guests will be served from lemonade stands built and decorated by Panera Bread Associates.

“We are extremely grateful for the valuable partnership and continued relationship built with Panera Bread and the Covelli Family, states Dave Joswick, Executive Director of New Hope for Kids. The summertime Lemon-aid stands at each of the cafes refreshes our families and builds great community awareness for us.”

“We are so excited to be partnering again with New Hope for Kids and hosting Project Lemon-Aid for Kids” said Jenna Brodkowski, Marketing Manager for Covelli Family Limited Partnership, a franchisee of Panera, LLC. “Please visit a Panera Bread in your community and help New Hope for Kids in their effort to bring hope, healing and happiness to children and families suffering from grief, loss or life-threatening illnesses.”

Panera Bread is proud to have New Hope for Kids as a community partner. In addition to the proceeds from the lemonade stands, all money collected in the month of August through Panera Bread’s Operation Dough-Nation boxes will be donated to New Hope for Kids to support family programs.
