*Officer Derek Briscoe, 32, of Sanford, FL suddenly passed away on June 24th, 2015 leaving behind his wife Amy, son Logan (10), and daughter Olivia (5). Derek served in the US Army for 8 years as a sergeant with the 727th Military Police Detachment. As a 6-year Officer for the Orlando Police Department, Derek was beloved not only by his fellow Officers, but the entire community as a whole. Derek dreamed for his children to exceed in their education and to strive for the best in higher education. As an Army veteran and Officer of the Orlando Policy Department, Derek selflessly sacrificed on a daily basis. Our dream is to continue upon his dream and to remember “Heroes Live Forever”.

All proceeds go towards the education of Derek’s children, Logan and Olivia.

MSO Art Night Fundraising Auction

Location: The Florida Hotel & Conference Center, Orlando Florida

Montessori School of Orlando is a multi-cultural school that helps the neediest children of our community. More than 45% of the student body at MSO is funded through government scholarship and/or government assistance. We have children from the ages of 12 months to age 14 years old (Toddler, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st to 8th grade). But we need much more! We still need to purchase adequate Montessori materials, furniture, and we really need a bigger space to accommodate the student population, as our student body continues to grow each year.

In a great effort to raise funds, we planned the Art Night Fundraising Auction where each student is donating a piece of art. Also, the staff of Montessori School of Orlando has been committed to planning and promoting this important event for our students. There will be a live auction by an auctioneer, a silent auction, a raffle, and live music.
