The Community Chorus of Palm Coast performs its spring concert program of traditional sacred, gospel, pop and folk music. The 52-member Chorus of experienced singers is directed by Linda Hodges, a professional musician with over 25 years’ experience. This hour-long concert is free, but donations are welcome.

We are starting a Coffee House twice a month on Friday nights starting May 2, 2014. Coffee, tea and side dishes to be served and soft, live Christian music provided with reading of the Word and Bible Study. Come and be served. A place to relax and be refreshed.

Run Thru The Ranch 5k

Location: Star Ranch, Port St. John FL

The Running Zone Race Management, Inc., the University of Florida Brevard County Extension Service, the Brevard County Farm Bureau, the Brevard County Cattlemen’s Association, and the Brevard County Tourism Development Commission are hosting a 5K run. The run will be on May 3, 2014 and will be held at Star Ranch in Cocoa, FL. The participants will run or walk 5 kilometers through part of the beautiful Star Ranch. Medals, Awards and Random drawn prizes!

Watermelon Challenge: Grab a partner and run this year’s 5K with a watermelon! Register with a friend and run the 5K carrying a Florida grown watermelon! Special prizes for the winning team.

Team Challenge: Show your team spirit and register for the Team Challenge. Run or walk the 5K with your friends, co-workers, schoolmates…a team is a group of four.

Faith and Fitness Festival

Location: Blanchard Park, Orlando FL

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, YMCA and Florida Hospital have teamed up for the first faith & fitness festival on May 3rd at 8 a.m. we will start up with a 5K race, there will be a 1 mile run and a fun run (for registration info check our website). After the race, all are welcome to our festival were we will pass out awards and prizes starting at 9:15 a.m. There will be live music, DJs, face painting and games for adults and children. Wacky competitions, bounce houses, dancers and a team of entertainers working through the crowd. There will be painters doing works of art and food trucks with healthy snacks, ice cream, breakfast and sandwiches. Beach volleyball and a giant full playground for kids. All of this at the festival for free, free, free! The FCA MVP award ceremony the starts at 11 a.m.

When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walks, you join the effort with thousands of people to raise funds and awareness for AFSP’s vision to create a world without suicide.

The Autism Society of Greater Orlando is hosting its 9th Annual Autism Walk & Family Fun Day inside the Orange County Convention Center’s North Concourse on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  We would like to invite everyone out to support ASGO and the families affected by autism. 100% of the proceeds will stay right here in the Central Florida area.
