Sanlando United Methodist Church VBS

Ready for a rock-solid unforgettable time? At Sanlando UMC’s Kingdom Rock, kids will learn how to stand strong for God!  Kingdom Rock is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch and even taste! Sciency-fun Gizmos, team-building games, cool Bible songs and tasty treats are just a few of the royally rockin’ activities that help faith flow into real life. Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy… be sure to send them in play clothes and safe (closed toe) shoes. We will be helping kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life – something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

Sunday, June 23^rd will be our VBS Presentation where our kids and volunteers will get to be a part of the 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. church services – sharing what they learned during the week and singing their favorite VBS songs!  So mark your calendars and tell the whole family!

Registration Fee (Family Maximum is $45):

$20 for the first child

$15 for second child

$10 for third child

Fee includes all activities, supplies, t-shirt iron on and snacks. Please make checks payable to Sanlando United Methodist Church and submit with completed registration form. You can get your registration form at Sanlando United Methodist Church. VBS runs June 17-21.

PROGRAMS:

• Preschool Program:  Children entering Pre-K (4 years old by September 1^st, 2013) for the 2013-2014 school year through those entering Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year.
• Elementary Program:  Children entering 1^st grade for the 2013-2014 school year through those entering 6^th grade for the 2013-2014 school year.
• 3 Year Old Program:  Children who will be 3 years old by September 1^st, 2013, for those children of volunteers ONLY!
• Nursery Program:  Free for those children 2 years old and younger for those children of volunteers ONLY!

'Passport Around the World' Summer Camp

Little Voyagers ages two to five. Adventurers is for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Join us as we explore the world through sights, sounds, tastes and activities. Begins June 17th until week of July 22nd. Come for one week or all summer. Call 407.774.0168 for more information.

Upwards Basketball Camp

Join us for our Upwards Basketball Camp June 17th-21st.  The camp begins at 9:00 a.m. each morning and ends at 12:30 p.m. Lunch is included.

Learn the basics of basketball with a mindset of teamwork, fairness and God as the focus! (Upward.org)

All Upward camps are $75.00.  This includes a t-shirt, basketball, poster, water bottle, lunch and a great time!  There is a $10 fee  for late registration.

Catholic Kids Camp

This camp will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. during the week of June 17th-21st.  The cost will be $30.00 per student or $40.00 per family. Please contact Marilyn Napoletano at 407.695.3262 for more information or to register.

Mega Sports Vacation Bible School

From June 17th – June 21st 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. | Mega Sports Camps Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School

A summer VBS called Kingdom Rock will be hosted Four Corners Baptist Church from June 17 to June 21.  At Kingdom Rock, kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience epic Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to stand strong, and make cool crafts they will enjoy all summer long. Kingdom Rock is for kids from age 5 through 5th grade  and will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. each night. For more information, call 863.420.7231 or register online at Four Corners Baptist Church.

Vacation Bible School

Our VBS begins June 18-June 22 in the evenings from 6:30-8:45 p.m.  We will be doing the theme Everywhere Fun Fair.   You can register online right now at All Saints Lutheran Church. We’d love for new people to join us, for age 4 (pre-K) through 12 years old can register, older siblings can sign-up as volunteers to help out.
