The Kids Challenge -Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to Noon
This week is all about teamwork! The kids will learn the importance of working together, playing together, and worshiping together. Fun challenges everyday, great Bible adventures and local mission projects.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Fun, educational and focused theatre camp for kids ages 8-17. Camp teaches theatre while teaching the making of good personal choices, self-esteem, integrity, confidence skills and plan ole fun. Children audition for roles on the first day of camp  and two weeks later perform in their show before a  paid audience at the end of the second week. Yes, that means the whole show!  Teaching professionals share their tips and coaching. An  amazing two weeks. Don’t miss it.

Upwards Basketball Camp

Join us for our Upwards Basketball Camp July 22nd-26th. The camp begins at 9:00 a.m. each morning and ends at 12:30 p.m. Lunch is included.

Learn the basics of basketball with a mindset of teamwork, fairness and God as the focus!

All Upward camps are $75.00. This includes a t-shirt, basketball, poster, water bottle, lunch and a great time! There is a $10 fee  for late registration.

Kids K-6th grade are welcome, but must pre-register to ensure the shipment of their Upward t-shirt, water bottle and sports gear arrive on time.

*All day care is available at an additional charge.

Read To Me Story Time (A Sock Story)

At Amaya Papaya we encourage parents to be engaged with their children’s playtime through dramatic play, crafting and reading together! We love and support weekly FREE story time at your local library hence we do do have weekly scheduled story times here…INSTEAD we offer SPECIAL GUEST STORY TIMES once a month where we invite local authors, teachers and story tellers to our imagination stage to share stories that are sure to spark the imagination! These special story times are scheduled on a Tuesday or Thursday during the month.

A Sock Story
The picture book features A) two curious adventure socks, Sock Pink and Sock Blue, who adventure, sing, play, pray and dance their way around and B) Animals that vow to never have a gibberish-ly bad day!

The Drive - Community Bible Study and Worship Service for Orlando Young Adults 20s and 30s

The Drive is a weekday Bible study and worship service for Orlando 20s/30s singles. The Drive is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday nights in the Student Center of First Orlando. Group heads out to dinner each week following the service.

Tacky Christmas in July Dinner and Project Night

Come join as Community Methodist gets ready for Christmas EARLY!  A traditional Christmas dinner will be served, items will be collected and organized to be used in the community during the Christmas holidays and projects will be completed to help with that busy time of year.  Wear your tacky Christmas clothes.
