Concert – Living Beyond the Frame
Come and join Singer/Songwriter Andy Gullahorn
, Dr. Jim Coffield
(RTS Assoc. Prof. Counseling), and Dr. Bryce Hagedorn
(UCF Assoc. Prof. Counseling) for a series of songs and conversations about the power of the Gospel working in, around and through peoples lives, freeing us from the limitations we place on ourselves, others and God…inviting us us all to enter into the abundant life Jesus came to give.
Come and be entertained and enlightened as we are moved by music through a series of short conversations with several leading CFL Counselors/Professors about the origins of wounds in our stories and the ways we tend to respond to those wounds throughout our lives, and the invitation to experience the power of the Gospel to transform not only our wounds and our responses to them but even our very selves, breaking us free from the ‘frames’ we place around us, others and ultimately God. This event is for anyone who loves great music and great conversation and those who have experienced the reality of brokenness in their stories and are seeking freedom from it.
There will be resources (i.e. book lists, counselors, counseling practices, recovery groups) available before/after the concert available to discuss possible next steps for people looking to move towards healing and the possibilities in their lives through the power of the Gospel.
This is a FREE event through the partnership of Reformed Theological Seminary and Northland Church. FREE childcare is available but space is limited so please RSVP to: email@example.com
