Family Fun Dog Day

Local Dog Rescue, Houndhaven, Inc. is hosting a family fun day on Saturday, March 16 at the Mt. Dora Walmart on Highway 441. Bring the entire family, canines included, from 12-3 p.m. to meet the Houndhaven adoptables and have your pet photographed with the human-sized Houndhaven mascot dog. There will also be raffles and games. Hot dog lunches will be available for small donation to Houndhaven. Houndhaven is a non-profit, primarily Labrador Retriever dog rescue shelter located in Minneola, Florida. Houndhaven has rescued and placed in forever homes nearly 900 dogs in the last 12 years and is a no kill shelter run entirely on donations and volunteers.
