Lake Technical Center Spring Term 2013

Are you in need of “A Career in a Year?” Lake Technical Center’s short-term affordable training might be just the answer. Lake Technical Center is accepting student applications for the spring 2013 term that opens January 22, 2013. Career-Technical programs accepting students include: Accounting Operations, Administrative Office Specialist, Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing; Automotive Service Technology 1 & 2; Commercial Foods & Culinary Arts, Digital Design 1 & 2; Medium & Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Technician 1 & 2; Medical Assisting; Nursing Assistant Articulated/Home Health Aide; Patient Care Technician; and Phlebotomy for currently employed healthcare workers.

In addition, Lake Tech offers Nursing Assistant (Articulated) (CNA) class in Mascotte at the former Mascotte Elementary campus. The next class will begin January 22. The 165 hour class meets Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and the tuition is approximately $475 plus books and fees. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Adult Education classes, including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Education Development (GED), and Applied Academics for Adult Education (AAAE), are available day and evening at various locations throughout Lake County.
