Harry T. Moore, African American civil rights leader and martyr, investigated lynchings that occurred in Florida. Moore left his mark on civil rights issues including voter registration, police brutality, equal salaries, and integrated schools. Founder of the Brevard County Chapter of the NAACP, Moore increased the number of African American voters in the state. Juanita Barton served as the chairman of the Community Outreach Activities for East Mims Progressive Civic League Inc. Lunches available for pre-order from Deli 111 for $8 per person.
