Pregnancy Resources’ Walk for Life
Pregnancy Resources Invites Brevard Residents to “Walk for Life” Event on Saturday, March 16th
Pregnancy Resources’ 23rd Annual Walk for Life event is free and open to the public. More than 500 people are expected to participate in this family-friendly walk and fundraising opportunity on Saturday, March 16 at Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach. Supporters can register to walk or sponsor a walker at Walk for Life 2013.
All proceeds from the Walk for Life event will directly benefit Pregnancy Resources, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free programs and services to include medical-grade pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, pregnancy and parenting classes, resource referrals and baby necessities to assist women and families who are facing an unexpected pregnancy.
The Walk for Life begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 9 a.m. kick-off of the walk through the beautiful paths around Gleason Park. Whether you’re pushing a baby stroller or a wheelchair, families are encouraged to participate and enjoy the refreshments, and activities for children of all ages.
