Sanford’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt!
City Church welcomes the community to its Easter celebration and Sanford’s biggest Easter egg hunt with over 10,000 eggs. The weekend begins with a Good Friday communion service followed by five Easter services – two on Saturday and three on Sunday.
City Church is also celebrating another milestone this Easter – its 15 year anniversary. “I can hardly believe it was 15 years ago this year that my family and I moved from Seattle to the area to start City Church,” says Pastor Eugene Smith, Lead Pastor. City Church had locations in Longwood and Altamonte Springs before settling in Sanford at its current location on East Airport Blvd. in July 2004.
The community is invited to the Easter and 15 Year Anniversary celebration. The weekend celebration begins with a contemplative Good Friday service on April 18th at 7 p.m. and celebratory Easter services and egg hunts on Saturday, April 19th at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Easter Sunday, April 20th at 8:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m., and 11:30 a.m. All services and egg hunts are located at City Church in Sanford. “It’s going to be a great day as we celebrate 15 years of bringing God’s love to the city,” says Pastor Smith.
