St. Mary’s 7th Annual Fall Festival
A pumpkin patch, haunted house, hay rides and lots of old-fashioned games are all back for St. Mary’s School’s 7th annual Fall Festival from 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
There will also be new activities this year including a petting zoo. There is no admission fee and the public is invited to the school grounds (1152 Seminole Drive in Rockledge) for a fun filled, relaxing evening of fun.
Aside from rides and animals, visitors can play old-fashioned games like corn hole and participate in a costume contest. There are lots of activities for children of all ages from a bounce house and hamster balls to miniature golf and a dunk tank.
All money raised benefits the National Blue Ribbon School. Students at St. Mary’s consistently score in the top 10 percent of standardized tests and get to enjoy a well-rounded curriculum that includes all the basics and Spanish, athletics, music, art and much more. As a Catholic school a strong set of values are imparted on students daily. This year the fall festival is being included in efforts to teach students about our responsibility of taking care of each other and our community.
Students will be collecting diapers for the Healthy Start Coalition of Brevard leading up to the Fall Festival. Healthy Start is a coalition of non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the health of pregnant women and babies in the community. Students also invite the public to drop off diapers, new toys or new clothing in the collection bins at the festival. All items collected will be delivered to the nonprofit.
Come enjoy the fall season and support two great causes at once – St. Mary’s Catholic School and Healthy Start. Cost varies for each game or activity and for food purchases, but there is no admission cost.
