The Great Duck Derby at Mead Botanical Garden | A Day of Free Family Fun!
Gates open at 9:15 a.m.
The famous Peabody Ducks begin the festivities at 10 a.m. Hundreds of little rubber ducks race in the pond throughout the day; cool prizes for winners!
Free Activities include:
“Duckoration”, face painting, bounce house, Animal Encounters with the Central Florida Zoo, sing along with Mr. Richard, hay rides and more. Take a hike along the creek, picnic and explore the 47 acre park. Food and drink available for purchase.
Racing ducks will be available for adoption for $5 each at the Garden on Derby Day and at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market on Saturday, Feb 16. Mead Botanical Garden is located at 1500 S. Denning Dr. in Winter Park
Onsite parking is limited; additional parking at St. John’s Lutheran Church located at 17-92 and Garden Ave.
