St. Luke’s Lutheran School and Preschool is hosting their annual free interactive workshop for any area parents of rising kindergartners. This year, UCF Instructor for Early Childhood Development and Education, Kelly Jennings, will offer practical advice and steer parents through proactive steps to help their child adjust for their new journey. This is a free workshop. Participants will receive a toolkit and materials to help facilitate their child’s transition. The “Transitioning to Kindergarten” workshop is Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at 2025 W. State Rd. 426, Oviedo, FL 32765. Call 407.365.3228 for more information.
