The event is held weekly and open to anyone in the community. Each week a topic as well as the basic information is offered in a discussion focus group. Women are encouraged to attend at least 4 meetings before delivery (but even one is beneficial!) and then are welcome to continue with the group until their baby is weaned. Mothers are welcome to start attending after their baby arrives. Topics include Preparing During Pregnancy, Returning to Work or School, Why Mother's Milk is the Best, Weaning, and How to Help Fathers and Grandparents Participate in Loving the Baby.
