Pumpkin Patch at Sanlando United Methodist Church
Location: Located on the church grounds, one block east of I-4 on S.R. 434, Longwood
Proceeds support Youth Mission Trips for 2008, the Shine Choir 2008, and ongoing IMPACT ministries. Best selection in town! Pumpkins for eating and decorating - all sizes. Fall decoration: gourds, corn, cornstalks.

Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sunday: Noon- 8 p.m.

Fall Festival on October 28th from 3-5 p.m. There will be:

* Picnic * Wear a Costume and Join the Fun!
* Inflatables * We do appreciate donation of canned goods to support the food
* Games pantry and Christian Sharing Center.
* Puppet Show


SHS 1967 Class Reunion
Location: Magnolia Square in Downtown Sanford
Weekend event! Festivities will begin Friday evening with a Meet and Greet at Magnolia Square and move on later to the newly renovated Ritz Theater (Helen Stairs). Saturday night will be held at the Civic Center (it, too, has been renovated!) with food, music (Shy Guys) and great old friends.For those interested in playing golf, contact Lamar Oxford at 407-422-4310.

Cost: $100.00 per person for weekend event

First United Methodist Church of Port Orange Pumpkin Patch
Location: 305 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL
The Pumpkin Patch will be open through Oct. 31. It is a fundraiser for the Sonshine children's ministry and youth group at First United Methodist Church of Port Orange. Storytime is offered at the patch at 3 and 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturdays.

Pumpkins range from 50 cents to $50.

Village Frame Shop Art Exhibit
Location: Village Frame Shop and Gallery, 309 East Hwy 50, Clermont, FL
A group of talented local artists from Central Florida (Orange County and Lake County) are holding an exhibit, showcasing a number of their original paintings. Art Exhibit "Summer Splash II", showcasing paintings by Central Florida artists: Helen Cadwell, Myrna Faz, Shawn Gray, Diane Quinn and Felice Meiswinkle. This event will run Sept 1st through Oct 31st.

St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch
Time: 10:00am - 8:00pm
Location: St. John Lutheran Church, 1600 South Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL
There will be pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, decorative corn, corn stalks, hay, and fall decorations. Proceeds will go to the St. Johns youth group.

Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-Centered 12-step Recovery Program
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Asbury United Methodist Church, 220 W. Horatio Avenue, Maitland, FL
A Christ-centered 12 step recovery program to assist individuals with hurts, habits, hang-ups, and addictive behaviors. This group meets every Friday for dinner at 6:30 p.m.; 7:15 p.m. worship service; 8:15 p.m. support groups.

The 50 Finest's "Single Greatest Night"
Time: 6:30pm - 10:30pm
Location: The Ballroom at Church Street, 225 S. Garland Avenue, Orlando, FL
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation honors Orlando's outstanding single men and women who have exemplified leadership qualities, are active in volunteer roles, or have excelled in the Orlando business community. Honorees will enjoy an evening of dancing, awards, and a remarkable silent auction. All of the honorees will be featured in Orlando Magazine with a brief biography and photo. In return, each honoree commits to raising funds for cystic fibrosis research.
