Kirk is best known as the lovable teen heartthrob Mike Aaron Seaver, of the award winning series Growing Pains. He entertained audiences worldwide as the charming troublemaker, a role that earned Cameron several People’s Choice Awards and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor. “Growing Pains,” although it concluded after a seven year run, still airs internationally and in U.S. syndication. Kirk also starred in the family comedy series “KIRK”, which ran for two seasons on the WB Network. Kirk Cameron stars in a lead role as internationally acclaimed journalist Cameron “Buck” Williams in the apocalyptic thriller “Left Behind: The Movie”, “Tribulation Force” and “World at War” co-starring Academy Award winning actor Lou Gossitt Jr. This on going series is based on The New York Times best selling novels of the same name.

Throughout his life, Cameron has been a loyal philanthropist donating his time and resources to many charitable causes. In 1989 he and his wife, Chelsea Noble, established Camp Firefly (www.campfirefly.com), a retreat for terminally ill children and their families. Cameron and Noble host the camp which allows the families to take part in a variety of activities such as jet skiing, barn dances, fishing and even flying on a circus trapeze. The retreat allows the children to fun and relaxation and gives the families a chance to spend time with other families in similar situations. Cameron and Noble have dedicated themselves to this cause and hope to continue the Firefly’s growth in the years to come.

Kirk is also involved in a Christian ministry called The Way of the Master. It is designed to teach Christians how to share their faith Biblically and effectively. Kirk and Ray Comfort also host the award winning TV series “The Way of the Master” seen worldwide.
