Biography

Carol started at Z88.3 as an intern in the promotions department upon graduating high school during the summer of 2002. She then left for a short three-year break to attend Florida State University, where she majored in Communication with a major in Public Relations. She graduated in May of 2005, and recently returned to Z88.3 as the full time Promotions Director.

During her time in Tallahassee she had the opportunity as an intern to help launch a new Christian radio station, WAYT (WAY-FM). While there, she ran promotions for the station. She also had the opportunity to intern in studio as a production assistant, producing spots for concerts, weather and events that ran on air throughout the day.

“I think it is great how God leads us through life for His will without any of us realizing it until it is over. In high school I used to listen to Z88.3. One day, I won tickets to a Rebecca St. James concert from the morning show. At the concert, I met Melony McKaye when I got to ask her question to RSJ. I ended up interning for Melony in the Promotions department, and the rest is history. Every step of the way since then has been a specific path God has led me through. I did not realize it at first, but I see now how God has prepared me and is still preparing me for serving Him.”
