Biography

Cathy was born and raised in Michigan in a small town on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan called Traverse City. She moved to Orlando after school and loved the warm Florida weather. After working in the corporate world for years, she had the opportunity to stay at home, which is when she began volunteering at Z88.3 in the summer of 2001, helping with general office work.

In 2002, her volunteering changed to working part time as the morning receptionist until December 2004, when she became a full time employee. Cathy’s current duties at the station include assistant to our president, “General” Jim Hoge, engineering and auto draft coordinator, and accounts payable.

Cathy resides in Lake Mary with her daughter, Alaina, and the cutest dog in the world, their Shih Tzu, Skittles.
