Have you ever donated your hair to Locks of Love? Has anyone you know ever done it? Or do you know any recipient of a hair donation? If so, please click here and tell me your story. A powerful picture…
They wanted to pray together before their wedding but didn’t want to break tradition of the groom not seeing the bride before the ceremony…
So powerful and thought provoking, I just had to share.

Your One Word for 2013
Not a resolution. Not a 10-step-plan.
For 2013, how about just one word as the vision from God for your new year?

AND if you’ve already picked your word for 2013 – or you want to talk about a word you had in years past - share it with us here on my Facebook page!
Inspired by Barry McDonald
This man inspires me!! I complain about having to carry the laundry upstairs. HE is running TWELVE back to back marathons over 12 days!!!!!! He cares about the plight of women and children in Haiti. Click on Barry McDonald’s picture for the whole story. Perhaps we could devote those 12 days to pray for this man on a mission who is using his gifts to do good in the name of Christ. He inspires me!! much love- Lis
Merry Christmas from the Williams Family!
Merry Christmas and MUCH LOVE from the Williams family! — From Luke 2 in the Message: “The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you’re to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger.” At once the angel was joi…ned by a huge angelic choir singing God’s praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him!” As the angel choir withdrew into heaven, the sheepherders talked it over. “Let’s get over to Bethlehem as fast as we can and see for ourselves what God has revealed to us.” They left, running, and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. Seeing was believing. They told everyone they met what the angels had said about this child. All who heard the sheepherders were impressed. Mary kept all these things to herself, holding them dear, deep within herself. The sheepherders returned and let loose, glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen. It turned out exactly the way they’d been told!” SHARE THE GOOD NEWS IN 2013!!!! with love, in Jesus – Lisa

My Momma’s Taffy Bars
These are the cookies that make it taste like Christmas at my house. I’m not sure why they are called “taffy bars” because they aren’t taffy, but they taste very sweet and yummy. When I was a little girl, Momma won the Louisiana State Fair cookie competition with these. Enjoy!
