Organized by the Japan Association of Orlando (JAO), the Orlando Japan Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary and will take place in virtual form this year. The festival will be held on the Festival’s YouTube channel on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. (EST). Viewers are encouraged to subscribe and click on the bell icon to receive further updates.


The virtual festival is free and open to the public and will feature electrifying cultural performances including Japanese Taiko drumming from One Thousand Drummers, Koto (Japanese harp), Iai-Nuki, Bon-Odori dance, traditional Japanese tea ceremony, Judo, and more.


The Virtual Orlando Japan Festival is organized by the JAO and supported by the Consulate-General of Japan in Miami and sponsored by Mitsukoshi U.S.A., Asia Trend Magazine, mickeynet and Tachibana-ya.


The JAO is a section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Japanese culture within the community and supporting local organizations and individuals in endeavors to further Japanese visual and performing arts, culture, and education.
