On Friday, August 4, 2017, The 4th Annual Community Senior Fair will take place at The Salvation Army of Orlando from 10 AM to 1 PM. The free event which is open to caregivers and family members will occur inside the gymnasium located on The Salvation Army of Orlando’s compound (440 West Colonial Drive, 32804).

A variety of vendors will offer information about safety, home healthcare, amplified phones, medical equipment, fitness, nutrition, benefits and much more.

4th Annual William and Catherine Booth Community Senior Fair

Location: The Salvation Army of Orlando – Gymnasium, Orlando Florida

The 4th Annual William and Catherine Booth Community Senior Fair will take place on Friday, August 4, 2017 at The Salvation Army of Orlando (440 West Colonial Drive) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Seniors and their family members are welcome to attend the free event. Vendors will provide a variety of resources in regards to safety, health care, transportation, utilities, elder law, fitness, nutrition, benefits, and much more.

Lemon-Aid for Kids

Location: Panera Bread, Orlando FL

Thirty-three participating Orlando area Panera Bread bakery-cafes will be hosting lemonade stands to raise money for New Hope for Kids.

On Friday, August 4th and Saturday, August 5th, from 10:00am-2:00pm children and supporters of New Hope for Kids will be asking customers to donate $1.00 or more to receive a refreshing sample of Lemonade. Guests will be served from lemonade stands built and decorated by Panera Bread Associates.

“We are extremely grateful for the valuable partnership and continued relationship built with Panera Bread and the Covelli Family, states Dave Joswick, Executive Director of New Hope for Kids. The summertime Lemon-aid stands at each of the cafes refreshes our families and builds great community awareness for us.”

“We are so excited to be partnering again with New Hope for Kids and hosting Project Lemon-Aid for Kids” said Jenna Brodkowski, Marketing Manager for Covelli Family Limited Partnership, a franchisee of Panera, LLC. “Please visit a Panera Bread in your community and help New Hope for Kids in their effort to bring hope, healing and happiness to children and families suffering from grief, loss or life-threatening illnesses.”

Panera Bread is proud to have New Hope for Kids as a community partner. In addition to the proceeds from the lemonade stands, all money collected in the month of August through Panera Bread’s Operation Dough-Nation boxes will be donated to New Hope for Kids to support family programs.
