Osceola Christian Prep Summer Fun Program


Location: Osceola Christian Preparatory School, Kissimmee Florida

Osceola Christian Prep Summer Fun Program is a 10-week Summer Fun Program from May 29th to August 3rd, that merges fun and education in a safe and amazing experience for your children.

Christian: The morning begins with a Bible Study.  Every Wednesday, the school comes together for chapel to worship Christ through song, skits, and Biblical lessons.

Fun: Other activities include things like arts and sports to science experiments.  Field trips are offered as well from a day at the park to a trip to the Crayola Experience.  Visit Osceola Christian Preparatory School’s website to view the calendar!

Affordable: It’s important to everyone that the Summer Program is as affordable as possible.  It only costs $50 a week.  And if you pay for at least 5 additional weeks of the Summer Fun Program, you automatically receive a 10% discount! Register early for additional discounts!

The Summer Fun Program offers extended hours for only $10 a week additional. Accommodations can also be made for early drop offs and transportation.

St. Luke's UMC presents Soccer


Location: St. Luke’s United Methodist Church – Coleman Gymnasium, Orlando FL

Soccer at St. Luke’s

This “non-competitive” league (where scores and stats are not recorded) is open to boys and girls in  Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade

St. Luke’s Soccer is open to boys and girls of all skill levels. St. Luke’s Sports promotes fun and fellowship. Their league dates begin September 15, 2018 and ends November 3, 2018. Registration includes a Jersey, Soccer ball and Trophy.
There will be one practice a week (Monday, Tuesday or Thursday). Games will be held on Saturdays. Registration will start in July.

Get an early Bird special, if you register from July 1 to August 10 the cost is $99 per child, From August 11 trough 22 the cost goes up to $120 per child.

Summer Camp Youth Pre-Employment Training Program


Location: Greather Glory Life Center, Orlando Florida

Free Summer Camp Youth Pre-Employment Training Program is designed to help students with IEPs and 504s transition from the school environment to the world of work helping them see the advantages of staying in school and graduating.

  • Registration date: July 2-6, 9:00am-2:00pm
  • Camp Dates: July 17th-28th, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Requirements: 14-21 years old and must have a copy of IEP or 504 form
  • Free employment training, self advocacy training, resume preparation and more
  • Free Lunch and snack served daily

First Orlando Counseling Center is having a therapeutic camp based on TBRI principles for kids from July 23-27.

The camp provides one on one support for children to help with learning social skills, healing attachment injuries, problem solving, and having fun 😃

Parents will receive valuable resources, training, and hands on activities with a licensed mental health counselor who is also a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner.

Opening Reception for "Exposed to View Photography" at Studios of Cocoa Beach


Location: Studios of Cocoa Beach, Cocoa Beach FL

An opening Reception for “Exposed to View: A Photography Show” will be held at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach on Friday July 27, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm.  This show features the work of seven local guest artists: Kent Buchanan, Cheryl Cohee, Malcolm Denemark, John Doddato, Ursula Dubrick, Nora Haydon, and James Werner.  The exhibit showcases the variety and potential of photographic art.

The evening includes food bites prepared by the Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club and the awarding of prizes including the Award of Excellence sponsored by Laserchrome Technologies.  Attendees can enter a free drawing for an artwork created by Studio artist Linda Z.. You can also vote for your favorite Studio artist’s work in the People’s Choice Award. Don’t miss this festive event and the opportunity to enjoy great local art and meet the artists.

The exhibit will be on display daily from July 24 through September 27 at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach.  This non-profit, co-op gallery is the creative center on the beaches offering workshops and classes for adults and children in a variety of techniques.  The Studio is open Monday and Tuesday 10:30 am-3:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday 10:30 am-8 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.
