2019 Space Coast Prayer Breakfast

“Love One Another”

The seventh annual Space Coast Prayer Breakfast invites you to join together for a time of county-wide prayer on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 2 at the Hilton Rialto, 200 Rialto Place,  Melbourne, FL.  Doors open at 7:00am.

The prayer for the 2019 Space Coast Prayer Breakfast is: “Love One Another.” The Bible, in John 13:34, says, “Love one another, even as I have loved you.” Join the millions of Christians who will once again heed this call! Scripture tells us again and again that without love for one another, nothing we say matters…only our love matters. Prayer is what ultimately determines the course of history…love is what shows the world what God is really all about.

The 2019 Keynote Speaker is Dr. Joel Hunter, along with a special video message from Honorary Chairman Congressman Bill Posey.

Dr. Joel C. Hunter served as senior pastor of Northland Church in Longwood, Florida for 32 years. In 2017 he transitioned from that role on a mission to “go from my best interpretation of what the Bible says, to my best imitation of how Jesus lived.”  In 2018, Orlando Magazine listed him as the #1 most powerful voice for philanthropy and community engagement. He serves as the Chairman of the Community Resource Network, a non-profit organization focused on helping homeless families. He also leads Simple Help, a movement of everyday helpers doing simple things to make the world better.

The 2019 Space Coast Prayer Breakfast is an outreach of Power in the Workplace Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation comprised of business leaders, professionals, ministry and church leaders, civic and community leaders who have been praying for Brevard County and have come together to organize this countywide event. Apopka Mayor's Prayer Breakfast

Location: Apopka Community Center/VFW, Apopka FL

This community event is held in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer, which is held the first Thursday in May. The National Day of Prayer is a vital part of our heritage. Since the first call to prayer in 1775, when the Continental Congress asked the colonies to pray for wisdom in forming a nation, that call to prayer has continued throughout our history.

The theme of the 2019 National Day of prayer will be “Love One Another,” based upon the words of Jesus in John 13:34, which says, “Love one another. Just as I have loved you.”

God’s love needs to immerse all of America; from the church house to the state house and all the way to the White House, so the nation will learn to love one another despite differences. This includes every person in America as well as every person in the world. He wants us to love every person sacrificially, willfully, and unconditionally because this is the same way he loves us.

The Apopka Christian Ministerial Alliance knows that He placed each person here at this time of history to be in this nation. They understand that prayer and inspiration are needed for this city, state, nation and the world. Both will be on the agenda at the Apopka Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Thursday, May 2, 2019. The mayor and other community leaders will gather  at the Apopka Community Center/VFW from 7:00-8:30 a.m. for breakfast, prayer, and a message from this year’s keynote speaker, Gian PaulGonzalez.

Gian Paul is widely recognized for inspiring the New York Giants to their 2012 Super Bowl victory with the phrase “All In”. He has been featured on ESPN as well as had notable appearances on Fox news and CNN. His inspiration talks have made him an internationally renowned speaker for NBA, NFL, English Premiere League and Fortune 500 organizations.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: ampb2019.eventbrite.com, The Apopka Chief newspaper 400 N. Park Ave., Apopka, FL or The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce located at 180 E. Main St., Apopka, FL
