Operation Christmas Child counts on volunteers to collect millions of Shoebox gifts every year. Volunteers take on many roles, all with one wonderful purpose: to bring the Gospel to children in need around the world.  A Project Leader is the person who would lead the Operation Christmas Child activities at your church, community group, or business.   On Saturday, August 24th at 9:30 a.m., Eau Gallie First Baptist Church (www.egfirst.org) is hosting a free Project Leader Workshop & Prayer Luncheon for training past and interested volunteers in the collection of this year’s Shoebox gifts.  Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for registration.  All who are interested in Operation Christmas Child in any capacity are welcome to attend!  Please call Lynne Phillips at (321) 258-4918 for questions about the workshop and to let them know you plan to join them for lunch.  To learn more about Operation Christmas Child, please visit www.samaritanspurse.org.
