Golf Tournament

Location: The Majors Golf Club, Palm Bay Fl

A Golf Tournament to benefit the LiftUp Young Lives program at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Melbourne Florida. This great program helps teens transitioning out of foster care. The participants learn life skills, job hunting skills, and the Christian faith though education and mentors to help them become successful and productive adults.

There is no program for teens ageing out of foster car so they have no training or safety net. Upon successful completion of the program, they receive a car as a reward.


The tournament is September 21 at The Majors Golf Club in Palm Bay Fl,

Entry is $ 80.00 per person  or $300.00 per foursome. Check  in  begins at 7:30 with a start time of 8:30. Refreshments, prizes, lunch and beverages will be provided.

There is a $2000.00 prize for a hole-in-one, plus raffles and other prizes.

They will provide you with information about what to look for as a Home Buyer. At the end of the workshop, you will receive a course certificate for Financial Education AND Home Buyer Education. The certificate received at the end of the workshop is NOT AN APPROVAL for down payment or closing cost assistance programs. It is a REQUIREMENT for down payment assistance programs. Please consult your lender for more information regarding your local programs. The course certificate is valid for one year.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME. DOORS OPEN AT 8:30 A.M. to allow time for SIGN-IN & filling out your required INTAKE APPLICATION. DOORS CLOSE AT 9:00 SHARP and late arrivals will not be allowed in.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You CAN bring your completed HUD-REQUIRED INTAKE APPLICATION. You can SAVE TIME by filling it out before the event. Please go to  www.helpcdc.org and click the tab for RESOURCES PAGE. From there you can download the “First Time Home Buyers WORKSHOP Application.” Please return it by email HB@helpcdc.org or fax (321) 710-0470 by 12:00 noon on Friday, September 20th -OR- you can bring it with you to the workshop.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
If more than one person will attend the workshop, each individual must register separately. When registering, please list your name as you would like it to appear on the certificate.

Each person who attends the workshop must sign-in AND complete the HUD-required Intake Application and Workshop Survey to receive a course certificate.

Childcare is not available. Due to the length of the workshop, we advise against bringing children.

What can I bring into the event?
If you have a tendency to be cold, it’s encouraged that you to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Will there be food?
There will be morning refreshments. Pizza for lunch! Beverages available all day, too!

I know someone who has missed mortgage payments. Can you help?
Yes! Intake applications and basic foreclosure information will be available at the registration table during the Home Buyer Workshop. Just tell your friend to: (1) come by and speak with one of the Advisors or (2) have them call the office (407) 628-4832 ext. 2004 or (3) fill out a contact form on this website.

Women's Conference

Stepping Out Of the Boat- Believing God for the Impossible

This conference will offer fellowship, key note speakers sharing how God has lead them to “Step Out Of the Boat” and enter into a direction they never imagined and how He has richly blessed them for following His call. Proceeds of the ticket sales will be donated to Sabrina Johnson, one of the speakers, who, along with her husband and six children, is a missionary in Thailand.

Continental breakfast, message through chalk drawing, praise and worship music, lunch (provided by Tea World), door prizes, craft, and many blessings.
