Venders offering beads, minerals, gemstones, jewelry, fossils, artifacts, rocks, cabochons, etc. Silent Auction, Door Prizes, Demonstrations, Family Activities, Scavenger Hunt. St. Luke's Concert Series: Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra


Location: St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Oviedo FL

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Eric Jacobsen, and featuring guest pianist, Gabriela Martinez, performs “Schumann and Schumann.” This family-friendly program of classics is presented by  St. Luke’s Concert Series, which is celebrating 25 years of offering a full season of concerts from September through April, with free admission and parking, as its gift to the community. The performances typically attract audiences of about 1,000, so early arrival is advised for best choice of seating and parking.

Program highlights: Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 4

Location: St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Orlando Florida

Are you a single parent feeling overwhelmed by the many different hats you wear? Register to attend St. Luke’s Single & Parenting support group offering practical strategies and hope for the future for all single parents: divorced, separated, widowed, and never been married. Weekly meetings start Wednesday, August 22 at 7:00 p.m. in Building C Room 201/203 and run through November 28. Come for family dinner beforehand in the Building C Welcome Hall.
