A Community that Cares
Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone is in a position to help someone who is. As the population of our county grows, so do the needs of the children in our foster care system. We hope that you will join us on February 11th to learn what you can do to help meet the needs of these children.
The night will comprise of a detailed presentation on their specific needs and what we can do to ensure they are met. This will include a discussion from our panel of participants involved in all stages of the foster process – from removal to reunification. You will also have the opportunity to meet the various not-for-profit groups in our community that support the foster system, and the local businesses who in turn support them.
Every little bit helps – whether it is contributing financially, raising awareness on social media, or volunteering your time. This event is to empower local businesses and individuals in this call to action. They are looking to empower this community in this call to action to make sure that our community leads the way and becomes a shining example of how to help meet the needs of its most vulnerable children. Please come and join in this endeavor!
