Have you ever wanted to own some legendary astronaut autographs or rare NASA photographs? May you want to show off a rocket engine in your “space cave,” or how about owning a real Mercury escape motor tower?

Pre-bidding is open for an incredible selection of authentic space memorabilia at the 20th American Space Museum Charity Space Memorabilia Auction final bidding on Saturday, June 25th beginning at 12 pm EDT on-line or in person at the museum.

“This is the strongest auction we’ve had yet,” said Chuck Jeffrey, ASM’s chief operating officer and auctioneer with his business, Bid Again Auctions.

“There are three Apollo 11 crew signed items, two Neil Armstrong autographs, a rocket motor and a real Mercury escape capsule, and hundreds of items from space history,” said Jeffrey.

ASM (a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to the preserving and sharing of space history, as well as the education & inspiration of upcoming generations) conducts four or five charity auctions a year, an important source of the non-profit’s operating funds. Museum items are not sold as the items come from consignors or donations that were given to ASM to make money. There is no charge to attend the auction, bidding is not required to come check it out.

Included in the auction are many authentic and often rare NASA photographs, and lots of astronaut autographs from Mercury to Shuttle, with many Apollo astronaut-signed items. There are rare launch access badges, manuals, patches and buttons. Even a pair of space flown dice from Gene Cernan!

Some of the incredible items offered in this rich auction is a real Mercury spacecraft launch escape rocket motor (Lot 77); an ablative heat shield from the Gemini B spacecraft (Lot 88); a rare optical collimator to align the Saturn V on the pad (Lot 115A); Apollo 11 crew signed insurance cover (Lot 155); and an authentic Rocketdyne S-3 rocket engine (Lot 157).

American Space Museum & U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization located at 308 Pine Street in Titusville FL.
