ORLANDO, FL

Trinity’s Comfort Dog will arrive in Orlando on June 23 after completing its extensive training with Lutheran Church Charities. Lutheran Church Charities began the Comfort Dog Ministry using pure bred Golden Retrievers as a calming influence for those suffering and in need of comfort. These beautiful animals create opportunities to share the mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ. The LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are working animals, trained to interact with people of all ages.

Nineteen (19) Comfort Dogs were deployed to Orlando in June 2016, and again in June of 2017 in response to the shootings at Pulse.  They were also recently deployed for the Parkland School tragedy.

This LCC K-9 Comfort Dog will be the very first one for the state of Florida.  A Comfort Dog must always be invited, but there is never a fee for the visit.

Speakers:

Trinity Downtown, Senior Pastor, Rev. Doug Kallesen

LCMS FL-GA District President, Rev. Gregg Walton (9:30am service)
