“Women at the Well” A Mini Play and Tea
WOMEN AT THE WELL
A FREE COMMUNITY MINI-PLAY AND TEA TO CELEBRATE EASTER!
Written, directed and preformed by local women (except one male artist)
It seems that in our society women and their struggles have been highlighted the last few years. Women have often felt less than equal with men. In some places in the world, women can not receive the same education as a man, can not work outside of the home , or even drive a car. Many women suffer silently under physical and emotional abuse from their husbands, boyfriends or employers.
But there was one man who treated women with great respect and love: “The Man from Galilee”.
You are invited to come witness the exciting true stories of the women who were radically transformed after having encountered this “Man from Galilee”.
They will also unveil a beautiful and unique musical, “The Ark City Blessing.” Legleiter Video has combined the recordings of singers from numerous Ark City churches with our town’s familiar icons to create a historic musical event.
